You need to get you ears tested and your scholarship revoked.

And so, God came forth and proclaimed widescreen is the best.

He was kind of like a rough Southern English accent.

reply

not to me it didn't,was it meant to be cockney? I like Brosnan but the accent seemed weird to me,I am British by the way and think I am pretty good at spotting accents.

reply

Maybe it was deliberate? Making you think that he's been god knows where for god knows how long his accent is a bit mush mashed? That's what I thought anyways :)

reply

It sounded like a Midlands to southern accent to me

reply

though it was South African.

reply

To mainstream Americans watching this film, Australian, Scottish, English, Welsh, NZ, Irish is all a "British accent". Just like when Japanese people travel to England or Australia or America, and people call them Chinese.

reply

It was cockney I think.

Did sound a bit Australian and South African with estuary English!

It's that man again!!

reply

Definitely not a Cockney accent at all, nothing like it. I'm from East London and hear Cockney accents all the time and kinda hate it often too.

reply

Agreed.More Essex boy(Like me!)

I think he was chanelling David Bowie too!

You people need to get out more. He seemed to go for that whole "I have lived all over the world and my original accent is watered down through the years". A lot of people have watered out accents, some of my friends included, or accents that are "colored" by living in different regions. Considering he was some British "agent" who has spent 30-40 years working all over the globe it makes sense he chose to go for an accent that is hard to pin down.

I was born and raised in Australia, i moved to the USA about 10 years ago and while i think i sound the same, my family says i now speak with an American accent. When i first met my wife i loved her accent, she is a valley girl. I now cant hear her accent nor my daughters but i can hear my brothers Australian accent.

Time away from home has a habit of changing ones accent and style of speech.

As we grow we learn, i have learned that if you don't like me grow up or ignore me.

I thought he sounded like David Bowie...
