Pretty Good Old School Biopic

This is almost a throwback to Hollywood biopics... it focuses almost as much on the other characters as Duran himself... which I like.

Most modern biopics focus too much on 'psychology' and don't tell the person who doesn't already loooove the main character -why- the hero matters. If you're not already a fan, you won't likely get the big deal.

But this is largely a series of events in the Duran's life... with big side trips to his trainer and Sugar Ray.

Not perfect, but hey, Roberto was/is far from a perfect guy.

Not a -great- script, but good acting. Nice sets.

7.5.

Why? I came into this game for the action, the excitement... Listen, kid, we're all in it together.
