King Candy / Uncle Albert in 'Mary Poppins'

I thought Alan Tudyk who voiced king Candy did a spectacular job, he very much reminded me of 'crazy' Uncle Albert done by Ed Wynn who was Dick Van Dykes crazy relative in Mary Poppins who flew off the walls (literally). Anyone remember that?

Very true, to me the character that first sprang to mind was The Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. Such a delightful character, with a candy-coated happy hoppy exterior but with a dark, self-centred centre.
