Felix is the real bad guy

So they have been plugged in for 30 years and Ralph lives in the dump, Qbert and co. move in and Felix builds them all houses after 1 day? I think we know who the real bad guy is here.

reply

I think he is more ignorant than a "bad" guy. People at the top rarely understand what it's like for people living at the bottom. No one knows horrible it is until they see it with their own eyes. Just like how people never understand how horrible orphanages/slaughter houses are until a video goes viral. Nothing new has happened at them, people just notice it.

reply

Also the other way around.

reply

I disagree. Plenty of people know exactly how orphanages and slaughter houses are.

We simply don't care. And that is normal. We may mouth some nice sounding words, but very few are going to contribute resources to causes other than themselves.

I don't think he was a bad guy, just a bad 'friend.' He should have stood up to Gene and the other Nicelanders when they were being cruel to Ralph. To me he comes off as a people pleaser and naive to others situations. He didn't realize how bad Ralph felt about his life, his situation and how crummy everyone treated him. I doubt Felix went outside his game that often to see how bad guys were treated in Game Central.

Did you actually watch the film, it's called character development. By the end of the film he has his eyes opened and doesn't see the world in black and white. He learns that not all bad guys are bad guys. Ralph does what he does because it's his job and not because he's a bad guy. And thus they all learn to work together.
