shareIf a movie can't hold up for a mere 3 years then the film makers made some big mistakes. Luckily this movie should hold up for longer though I do worry the old video game and arcade references might date the film one day. I think that's why most of it takes place in two or three worlds, to add to the timelessness. It should work, me and the lost boys will help keep it popular.
I can fly, I can fight, and I can crow! I am the Pan!
erm, not sure about your neck of the woods, but around here arcades were all but extinct ten years before the film went into production... They are being "retro" by setting it in an old fashioned arcade - it also makes for better storytelling having the "window into the real world" and the real "unplugging" threat. If all that was done in some kind of matrix-like online gaming server it would have SUCKED regardless of it being more "with it". Older things dont always date poorly, just look at the movies useage of qBert and Sonic and Pacman...
You call that a cameltoe? Put your cheeks into it!
