Features an outstanding depiction of demonic activity
I didn't know anything about this black comedy/mystery/horror or the Dean Koontz series before viewing it and was pleasantly surprised. While it's not necessarily great overall, it's welcomely eccentric and has elements of greatness. For instance, the depiction of evil spirits and their activities -- the way they're drawn to evil & fear like flies to dog doo-doo -- is one of the best cinematic portrayals of demons I've seen. The movie's nigh enlightening on this front.
Petite Addison Timlin plays the hero's girlfriend and her beauty is well highlighted without nudity or sleaze.
It runs 97 minutes and was in shot in New Mexico (Santa Fe, Albuquerque & Pecos).
