Wow...
Caught this on netflix the other night. Thought it would just be passable, but, tomy surprise, I really liked this. The ending was an excellent touch.

Agreed and I'm baffled by the people bashing Timlin. She was feisty, yet laid back, not to mention cute as can be. People bashing her for how she delivered her lines seem to be missing the point that she's accepted a guy who sees dead people and goes to help them, by stopping murderers. She's going to be a little off, in a good way.
I definitely thought this would be a time waster, but gave it a shot and despite being a little caught off guard, the ending somewhat made it more of a movie to me. Not just standard fare.
