If Bodach do not find the rape and murder of a teenage girl sufficiently interesting to even attend, and only like "extreme operatic violence and terror", why does Thomas see them so often? Even in a small town in America mass murder doesn't happen every month. Or is the USA even more violent that the news reports suggest?
shareWell, since nobody responded to this... I think he sees them only when something violent (deadly) has happened, or is about to happen. I think we see them in the movie only because massive death is imminent, due to to a particular plot (and not some general conditions). I don't know how frequently he saw them in the past. But this might be a good question: how many times can he have seen them in the past, as the rape and murder of a young girl cannot be that common in a small town.
