With all this wokeness infecting the horror franchise this is actually making me root for the killers.

Meh. It's the 6th film in a franchise that should have ended after #2. Look at horror in general. You get a spotty record with sequels and everyone likes different sequels for different reasons.
You didn't care for this one. It's okay. I didn't watch it, because I didn't like #3 or #4. This whole woke vs. Not woke thing is annoying. Hollywood producers love it because it gets them hatebait publicity. I don't recommend reacting to it. Just ignore it.
Yeah it seems that the hate bait is actually more of a money making idea than the movie itself, but that is probably the purpose.
Yeah a lot of horror sequels suck, but is worse when they’re woke horror sequels. The only thing I liked in S6 was Ghostface using a shotgun. Other than that I feel this new series kinda disrespected Craven’s work with Scream 4 since 4 already had the reboot theme anyway. To me Scream ended after the first one.
Well see what the kids say in 20 years. Will it be like Friday, nightmare, or Halloween? Or will it be more like Hellraiser, children of the Corn, and Pumpkinhead?

I was hoping Mindy died. She sucks. Her voice sucks. The actress is better than the main chick but the character is annoying.
I like Chad, but he should have died too. The movie completely undercut itself by showing all those people not only survive but laugh and run around with fatal stab wounds.
Yeah Chad seems kind of a decent character. Tara and Sam are ok but it's really Mindy that I can't stand.
It was stupid that all of them survived because that's takes away the fear of anyone can die at anytime in the Scream franchise. At least with Scream 2 they killed off Randy which made the movie good because it shows that nobody is safe.
To me I really only like the first Scream and felt it should've remained a stand alone movie.
You are right, should have been one and done. But $$ rules and they will keep throwing them out there as long as people are buying.
