Woke ruins a potentially good film (spoilers)

Once again the killers are immediately identifiable because we already know they’ll be white, and once again we know the main cast will survive because they’re minorities. It’s pathetic. I’m glad I learned my lesson from Scream 5 and didn’t pay to see this racist garbage.

It’s ridiculous how the black sibling duo can get stabbed to pieces and still survive, it happened in the last film, and it happens to them again here. Their minority-armour is insulting, stupid, spoils the tension, and stinks of politics.

At least this one didn’t humiliate and slaughter a loveable legacy character for the crime of being a straight white male. If that sounds like damning with faint praise it’s because it is.

Also at least minorities could die this time, and there was a sort-of minority killer early on, but he was also a victim (naturally).

Samara Weaving was the best thing in the film and she was wasted. She should have been the new lead in this series.

I will say that as a whole this was much better than 5. Still garbage that doesn’t deserve to call itself ‘Scream’, let’s be clear about that, but much more competently handled, with some effective sequences like the shotgun and subway scenes.

Ladder scene was dumb because why didn’t they just yank it inside to save the Chinese lesbian?

Nice to see Kirby again but… what has Panettiere done to her face? She’s like 30 and she looks botoxed. In her scenes with Courtney Cox it was like seeing two cyborgs pretending to be human. Stop it.

Leading lady still looks like a drunk model and can’t act, and why is Billy Loomis’ kid Indian? In real life cross-race relationships are very rare, but here everyone is at it. Gale now has a black boyf, Randy’s white sister had kids with a black man. I wouldn’t care if it wasn’t obviously part of the woke propaganda these filmmakers are more interested in shoving down our throats than making a decent film worthy of the ‘Scream’ name.

Scream is four great films by Wes Craven, these amateurish and woke follow-ups are definitely not canon. If you must watch them, just make sure you don’t pay for it.
