Definitely better than Friday the 13th: Part VIII - Jason Takes Manhattan.
Maybe not the hardest task but still, of these slasher franchises heading to the 'big apple', this is leagues ahead of JTM.
Also a slight improvement over Scream (2022) which is what you want. The new Halloween trilogy got worse and worse. If they can maintain this level going forward it would be nice, if they continue to improve that would be great.
