opening kill of #7

So for 5 and 6, they did their own thing, changed the formula so it wouldn't get stale, I appreciate that. First by letting Tara live, then by unmasking and dispatching two killers.

For 7, I hope they go back to basics in just having the opening scene be someone getting called and killed. But surprise us by having it be a character we already know. Even though he wasn't a lead or a favorite, there was still a sense of "Oh no! Aww..." when we first see Cotton in 3, at least for me anyway. And at this point, plenty of surviving characters to choose from.

My fear is that it might be Sydney, or more likely, Mark, from the old films (I say 'fear', but having the guts to kill characters we like/care for, should be what Scream is all about). If they manage to bring back Neve Campbell and then Patrick Dempsey (I assume he's the same Mark she's married to), I can't imagine the film letting them living happily ever after for perpetuity. Then again, I just saw from the Scream Wiki, that they have three daughters, so presumably they'll all be squeezed into the franchise somehow (Victim, Ghostface, Final Girl, maybe?)
