I'm up to the 2nd mission in arson, but I think so far the homicide missions were the best for investigation, & vice was the best for gunplay & chases. to pick one I'd probably say the final black dahlia was the best for me

The Black Dahlia final mission for myself as well, even how the closure is as befuddling as the real life case.

All the Homicide missions are my favorite. That was definitely the high point of this great game for me
