If nothing else, at least not a typical Hollywood ending *spoliers*
no big Gotterdammerung, no soul-awakening, no even realization that he did something wrong. Just so happy that for once we don't get a formulaic ending: the bad guy shows no remorse, and gets away with it. I like the idea that they show how these uber-rich bastards really operate. They really think they can (and usually do) get away with anything, because they can. Relationship with his daughter notwithstanding, he gets off scot-free, and his amorality rubs off on others. His wife accepts his philandering and shenanigans, the guy who buys the company ignores SEC violations as well, and the young guy who drove him home sells his soul for the $2millon trust fund. Except the principled daughter, all those around him get corrupted by his amorality; he's like King Midas in reverse - all he touches turns to sh!t. Bravo t the writer for having the balls to not force a 'bad guy sees the error of his ways and changes' ending.
