Quite possibly

The best "White Collar" crime thriller ever IMO. There's not many films like it. If so, I haven't seen them, and if anybody has any recommendations, I'd like to seek more out like it. Never been a big Richard Gere fan (no means saying he's a bad actor) but he's very strong here. Surprised to learn he filled in for Al Pacino. I can't see anybody else playing Miller.

I agree that it was a very good film. It held my interest as to what will happen next the entire way through. I especially liked two of the parallel plot lines in the story. Those were the predicaments of The Jimmy character and of his daughter. I gave it an 8 of 10 for those reasons and the ending that basically tells us that the lies perpetuated by Wall Street will always remain, hidden by smiling faces.

User Natasha266 has created a list of titles on the subject at this IMDB link and I have seen 5 to 10 of them. I agree that the 1987 film Wall Street would be a good place to start.

I suggest the following that are not on the above list.

Damages - Seasons 1, 2 and 3
Michael Clayton
The Firm
The Pelican Brief
The Lincoln Lawyer
_____

Books and movies are usually better than real life.

You don't know me and this note doesn't reference the movie, which I have yet to watch, but I was taken by the post you penned. It's too far and few between, to find comments like yours, made ostensibly to someone who's a stranger to you. I applaud your willingness to be thoughtful and helpful. IMDB needs more folks like you.

Your brain will explode if you watch Uncut Gems with Adam Sandler!
