Season 1 basketball championship plot hole

If both teams are from the same city, why is the championship game held four hours away?

But there's a reason that's done for the Superbowl: weather. But in high school basketball? An indoor game...?

This is an old topic but I'm still going to reply. I live in Pennsylvania. Every year we have our state championships in Hershey. They are always in Hershey, all classes, all size school districts, boys and girls. Even if two teams from Philadelphia make it that far, they would still be in Hershey. It didn't seem odd to me.

That's not a plothole. That's actually very similar to how it works here in newyork.
