Iris and Josh
This may seem like a stupid question but how are Iris and Josh cousins? they look nothing alike. Just something that has bugged me about season 4.

Lizzy Weiss tweeted about it, when their relationship was first revealed. She said that the two characters were cast without regards to skin color.
She also said that she liked it, because it is true to life. People marry and have children with people outside of their race. People adopt.
I can think of many ways for two cousins to look nothing alike.
True, i hadn't thought of that. I did like both characters they were very multi-layered, especially Josh. I thought he was adorable!

i had to look at the cast list to see how iris and josh were lol i think i missed an episode or two last season. i don't remember them being related
