I know it was off from the current month/year in real life, as most abcfamily shows are, but couldn't remember exactly how off. So now that there was a time jump.. Is the show timeline lined up with real world time now? Does it actually surpass real time?
Well, tonight's episode was the beginning of summer 2015, so June 2015. And the writers chose to flash forward 10 months, so that would be April 2016.
Tonight, I saw where Lizzy Weiss said that they may even bump it up further into the future than that, once they return to the writers' room and start hashing out the Season 5 story.
Actually, it was more the start of summer for college kids, which is more May (All the schools I know get out by/around May 13th, 2016). So it could be as early as March 2016.
I've been re watching on Netflix and how is it that the first season was 30 episodes (but one school year or a piece of a school year) and in season 2 apparently a whole school year has been covered in 11 episodes that all seemed like just a couple months worth of story? So confused.....
