It was not because she wouldnt hook up with him, Its the was Mingo was acting... He was concerned that Mingo would cause problems. If in real life you get hired and then your boyfriend started a fight/argument with your boss youd get fired.
shareNot if you include his first comment that made it clear he thought Daphne should be with him (I forget the exact phrase.) He has to provide a reason for rejecting a previously accepted applicant and being an attractive young woman it would meet extra scrutiny. Bringing up that her boyfriend was hostile towards him out of jealousy is not the kind of attention he would want to bring to the situation.
I would expect a trail of young women with similar complaints could be part of next years theme.
He was a total a$sh0le. Mingo is a much better man than Quinn.
