So the china episode was the last? We not gona know what the thelephone call was about? Why they had to go home?
Exactly. We're stuck until next January to discover what happened.
DW Moffett (the actor who plays John) said that whatever brings the two girls home from China wraps up quickly. It's not going to be some long, drawn out thing that lasts all 10 episodes. The two girls will take care of it, and then, they'll move on to another story.
Supposedly there's a big story involving the character of Mingo at the college next season. I'm guessing Bay and Travis will fall in love with each other. I've read from the co-stars and the crew that these upcoming 10 episodes are all about Travis. He will be the star of Season 5.
Lucas Grabeel (the actor who plays Toby) said that after watching the last 10 episodes, Travis ended up being his favorite character of the series. Many crew members and co-stars tweeted and commented on Instagram that Ryan Lane (the actor who plays Travis) did the best acting of his career. From comments, it sounds as though Ryan Lane is going to be phenomenal with a huge story guaranteed to make us cry.
I guess the writers didn't know what to do with Bay's story and Daphne's story, so they made the show about Travis at the end.
Lucas Grabeel (Toby) also said he has a big role as a father to his new son Carlton. I suspect Toby and Lily will have a wedding during the last 10 episodes. I have seen some hints that it might be coming. I'm guessing Bay will have another big art show, but this time, she'll earn it instead of Travis giving it to her. And Daphne will have more success as a doctor.
None of that is what I wanted to explore, but it appears to be what the writers want to give us: a big Travis story, a big Toby story, Bay and Daphne as sisters, and there you go.
