regina is a terrible mother

to bay
i don't even consider her her mother
i love how useless she's been throughout the whole series until she thinks bay has been "raped" and then suddenly she's the responsible, concerned "mother"

daphne was definitely raised by her

even then she didnt care that much

yeah, she kind of dropped the ball with Bay.

Everyone keeps saying i'm paranoid, it must be a conspiracy.

YES THANK YOU. Like when they found out about the switch, Kathryn and John were so involved in trying to get to know Daphne and being in her life and Regina just kept on being a mother to Daphne and all but avoided Bay. It could be argued that she was nervous about the fact that she knew about the switch, but even after that was revealed, she still acted pretty "blah" towards Bay, only spending time with her when Bay approached her.

I agree. She never really connected with Bay. She hadn't pushed for Bay to apply for the Latina scholarship since Bay is the real Latina...just Daphne. We all know J & K would have been all too happy to help out Daphne with college expenses. Yes, Regina would have balked at that notion but if she thought of Bay more like her daughter then she would have suggested they both try.

Daphne got better grades & had a better chance at getting various scholarships, Bay not so much. If Regina wanted her "daughter" to learn to make it on her own without J & K's help then it should have been a good lesson for BOTH her daughters, not just the one she favored! It was also denying Bay her true heritage.
