What's your favorite scene from 'I, Claudius' ? ?

me? The scene where the slut Messalina gets decapitated while her head was being held by one soldier and the other soldier swung the sword. She was really screaming.

Hmmmm. It's been awhile, but I recall a few.

1: When Claudius is Emperor and bitching out the Senate. His line "what a man says is more important than how long he takes to say it" was great.

2: Augustus finding out Julia had been shacking up with half the town. "Is there ANYONE who has not been sleeping with my daughter!?!?!" Great job from Brian Blessed!

3: When Sejanus realizes he's been had, and looks down at Macro, who shoots him this evil smile while gesturing with his finger to "come here". That was great.

Nearly everything John Hurt, as Caligula, was in.
He quite nearly stole the show from Derek Jacobi, who was just fantastic.
