Not cancelled, ending on a high note. To be honest I didn't see Spartacus going anywhere past three seasons(as far as the main story goes). Why? Quite simply, it would be too far stretched out. I am glad it is ending on an epic scale. I do hope he pursues the second prequel 6 episode series to god of the arena like he said he would.
