Joseph LoDuca used a Bulgarian choir for the Xena soundtracks.
I'm kinda wondering the same. They used it for Crixus and he was Gaul. Not even close to Arab. I could see them using it for Ashur and the other Syrian (Dagan?), but yeah didn't understand this either.
