Use of the word "cock", and fake red kool-aide blood

I am watching the tv series Spartacus.

And, the use of the word "cock", is like every other word, by every other person on screen!

One would think that the director or assistant, or someone on the set would have noticed that ONE particular word is being used far too much and often out of context!

Kinda distracting! Also, the slow motion blood scenes are done too often and the fake blood, looks like fake blood! It looks like red ink or cheap Wylers red kool-aide!

Spartacus the tv series is a good way to pass the time. No where near are polished as Game of Thrones, and it wasn't meant to be, since Spartacus aired first.

But, if you count the use of the word "cock", it is said more than the work "*beep*" on The Sopranos! And that is a hell of a record to beat!

The only thing that GOT is more of: is tediously boring. GOT has better acting and sets but that's it. Spartacus blows it away in every other way imaginable.

Sound like a "dude where's my car" fan

My favorite phrases are "Jupiter's cock" and "Pluto's *beep*

Butthole?

My favorite is Batiatius's constant "once again the Gods, open arse and insert cock" or derivations thereof.

I don't think you've taken into account the use of CS'er in Deadwood. But who cares? It's entertaining and GOT isn't. I think they use the C word less than GOT has unnecessary incest scenes.

reply

GoT is Hellu entertaining.

In the 50s Superman series the editor is always saying "Great Jupiter's Ghost!" I'll never be able to see it without hearing Great Jupiter's Cock now.

reply

A bit old, but Perry White said "Great Caesar's Ghost", not "Jupiter."

I was just watching this show for the first time ever, and within a few minutes I saw one of the main guys say something like "taking cock from two different directions".

Is that even possible?

I mean, I guess it is, but, wow.

reply

Yes it's possible, it's called DP.
