Gratitude For Andy Whitfield!

Gratitude to those who chose Andy Whitfield for the lead of Spartacus, otherwise I would have missed out on 'knowing' this great man/actor. This one role has given him the opportunity to be known and missed around the world. Spartacus afforded him a great legacy to leave behind for us, his fans.

My condolences to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by us, his fans, and know we have all of you in our thoughts, hearts, and prayers. Thank you for sharing him with us.

I only wish Andy had been healthy long enough to finish out the entire series run. But, just because he is gone won't stop me from supporting the show that brought him to us. The show deserves the chance to continue to shine. Andy would want it.

I agree with the OP. Any WAS Spartacus for me. So sorry for him, his family and loved ones. He should still be here on earth, cancer free.

He is still missed even though I enjoy the seasons after he was taken from the world.

Did I see them pay tribute in the credits of the current season or was I seeing things?

Yes, he is very much missed.

I haven't checked the credits for 'War of the Damned.' I know at the end of season two they paid him tribute, and at the end of the first episode for season two as well, IIRC.
