Sorry, I am not able to care for any of the characters. And who cares for American war technology? Cheapest propaganda for what? Showing me how great America is? Yeah guys, please continue to live in that illusion...

Well, it's effects on Americans and non-Americans seem to be quite different, that showed in box office numbers, apparently the percentage of it's international box office is much lower compared to other block buster movies.

As much as I would like Cruise to have an Oscar, I really don't think the Academy likes the guy. He's had multiple opportunities where he should have won it, but wasn't even nominated.

I somehow liked the first one. So I gave it a chance. But things including my interest in such movies apparently changed a little during the last decades...

But everything was practical with no CGI right?
