Really difficult to get quality talkers, apparently.

A lack of quality talkers never stopped The View, but anyway. I can't say I'm surprised, but 14/15 seasons with 8 more months on the air is nothing to sneeze at.
Sheryl and Natalie Morales are good, but the other three hosts not so much. Hopefully all go on to great things after December.
The new format of the show is truly dreadful. Makes me think of that terrific episode of Larry Sanders Show where the producers get rid of the desk and bring in the big chairs and he's got Jon Stewart trying to take his job. Just total desperation. Jerry O'Connell is also a really creepy weird dude. Mixing up the dudes with the chicks also didn't work. It was a neat idea but this experiment pretty much proved that a group talk show needs to be all ladies. It also abandoned having serious conversations about things and just became blathering nonsense. Silly show was in a tailspin ever since they axed Sharon.
shareThere's a show called Daily Blast Live that has 3 female and 2 male hosts that's been on for about 7 or 8 years now so the mixed gender format can work. The mix doesn't work here though.
I personally was annoyed that they haven't said a word about the conflict in Israel. I know it's never been a serious show, but they talked about the war in the Ukraine and mass shootings in the past so there's no excuse.
Firing Sharon was the one of the best moves, but the producers dropped the ball by hiring the guys.
