I thought that this drama had more stories to tell. The final season felt like a rushed job. The Japanese pull out after a series of bomb attacks by the BCR??So far fetched. We are only given quick flashes of why John Smith switched sides. Another series could fleshed that out.
Some series end at the right time like Breaking Bad , Mad Men and The Americans. High Castle still had legs for another season.
Being a big Dick fan ( no pun intended, I was reading PK Dick in the 1980's ) I would like to see some of his stories made into movies, but so far most of them have been pretty bad and not very faithful to the idea of the story. BUT, The Man In The High Castle, was different. It started out really well and was done seriously and given enough time and resources ... but, still they botched it up.
TMITHC is about the best thing I've seen, but it got too complicated and convoluted, and the way they were managing the story I don't think it would have gotten better no matter how many seasons they gave it. I wish I could feel different because it was fun watching, but it stopped following the book and got to complicated.
