Can't watch it until I'm at home (YT blocked at work). I can say this beforehand, though...if it appears that the show is veering more into sci-fi territory, I don't think I'll remain a viewer.
sharewell the book has always been sci-fi, because it dealt with the parallel universes and alternate words, so...
shareHaven't read the book. I did read some reviews that mentioned the TV story was not adhering to the book's story religiously, though (the book is supposed to be primarily about the west coast/Japanese occupation, not so much the German east coast bits that have been prominent in the TV story).
The show will take the story in whatever direction it wants to. All I'm saying is that I'm not entirely on board with it turning into Sliders or something along those lines. I'll reserve judgment until I see season 3.
