I LOVED season 2 !!!

I set up an IMDB account just to say that, and to beg Amazon to keep this series around ;)

Every plotline had my full attention, and all the characters, even minor ones (like Childan or Gerry) were well written and had a personality. This season had no weak points in my opinion. It's a strong 10/10 to me. It was gripping, heartbreaking, brilliant. The finale left me in tears, and two last episodes is a bloody masterpiece. I was watching at the edge of my seat.

Season 1 was great, but season 2 blew me away. Hard to point best plotlines, all of them were great - the Smiths, Juliana, Joe and his father, Trade Minister and his alternative story, Reich's politics, Ed&Frank&Bob's little endeavor. Everybody had their development, their own story, and what satisfying stories they were!
(Frank's plotline broke my heart to pieces, he's one of my favourite characters...Oh Frank!)

PLEASE PLEASE renew it for season 3!! Come on, Amazon!

(Note: I'm expressing my opinion, I understand there are people who didn't like it. Please don't offend me or disregard my opinions just because they are different than yours. Thank you.)

The definitely will, so no worries.
The show is a success & i agree with you with what tyou said about this series so far except for frank, who's the only character i cannot stand in this marvelous show.

I am not sure where they are going with joe's story. In the book he was a true nazi & an assassin who was killed by juliana, so i'm in anticipation to see how his character will unfold.

Whew!! Let's drink to that!

I couldn't stand Frank as well at the beginning, so I can totally relate. Somehow he grew on me - I think after his sister was killed. I felt really empathetic to him from that point, don't know why. The fact that Rupert Evans is one good looking fella AND can act scenes of despair so masterfully also helps ;)

Really curious about Joe as well!! I wonder what will happen to him after the coup.

I read the book a looong time ago - maybe it's time to reread it. I didn't even remember Juliana killed him! Good for her ;)

I know! I enjoyed the first season but I think season 2 was many times better than the previous. I'm surprised not many people really watch this show and it doesn't really get any attention!

I think that is because season 1 started somewhat slow then picked up rather at the end. The only thing I was disappointed with in season 1 is we never got to see the man in the high castle but this season we have, albeit he's totally different than the character in the book.
But the performances, again, this season outshone the first one...rufus sewell is excellent, & so is joel de la fuente..but my favourite has to be Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa..that guy can act without saying a single word & just by moving one muscle only can deliver many silent lines. If The Man in the High Catle was a film, he should be nominated for an academy award.

I'm surprised it doesn't get more recognition too, it deserves the fame...

Rufus Sewell knocks it out of the park. He's AH-MAZING. Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as well, he can transpire this deep sadness of his character perfectly with very limited expression. Not an easy task. As I said before I think Rupert Evans is great as well, but it's probably not a common opinion ;) I can believe all the pain and doubt he's going through as a character. Gripping performance to me.

Among minor characters, I love Brennan Brown as Childan - he has a unique comical timing. And I LOVE their sprouting friendship with Ed - I truly hope they will show us their further shenanigans in Neutral Zone! I'd watch a more optimistic, comedic spin off with this duo just casually smoking weed and trying not to get killed ;)

I'm enjoying it as well. trouble that there is a significant flaw in the Japanese General's plan to transport Uranium in public transport. He realises that will kill the people on the bus. Surely their deaths by radioactive poisoning will alert the Nazis to what is happening ?

Season 2 is an absolute disgrace. It has none of the sci-fi, fantasy feel, mainly because it has no book to rely on for ideas anymore.
Moreover, it shows little if any grand scheme of things stuff. The Atlantropa project is just sketched, although it could have been a great idea for the kind of horrors the Germans (not Nazis, Germans) would have made the world endure.

It has no value at all at this point, it's just a glorified soap opera with nazis. So enjoy your crap fest.
