1)Is Frank dead?

Yup, the way they setup the flashback scenes in the finale makes it like he didn't survived the blast.

2)What did the last scene of episode 10 mean (with the black guy bringing the tapes to shang tsung)

The High castle man (aka Office space stapler dude) knows that Tagomi is a good guy. He ordered the resistance to give those tapes (which I assume the content is critical for maintaining peace) to him for good use.

This will be the only comment or reply you'll get. Like I give a sh!t about YOUR interwebz opinion.

I wouldn't count Frank out 100%, even though we're being led to assume that he's dead.

And yes, Tagomi has shown that he wants to help make a better world. He made a film of the Bikini test while he was in his alternate reality and put that to good use by heading off a war between Germany and Japan. Abendsen sent him more films via Lem because those films might help Tagomi further the cause of peace in other ways.

I wouldn't count Frank out 100%, even though we're being led to assume that he's dead.

I imagine we will keep seeing iterations of these people throughout the alternate worlds.

I do think he's a goner from that world though.

I believe those were either all the "episodes" of The Grasshopper lies Heavy" Hitler had been collecting AND copying, AND splicing to make his own Propaganda films..OR, it was a collection of all Nazi Propaganda Films

Hitler had collected a number of the High Castle films. We saw some of them in season one. Apparently Smith has custody of them now.

1. Yes, although it was not filmed in the best way to convey that. Their mission failed so they had to set the bomb off immediately....Or it ran out of time. I'm not sure.

2. It means High Castle knew the trade minister experienced the alternate dimension and wanted hims to watch and protect the tapes.

I doubt Franks dead. We're never shown his dead body or even told that hes dead. That explosion was clearly survivable for people in the building and Kido, who was pretty close to Frank, survived. Hes one of the main characters so I think if he dies wed actually get some confirmation of it.

Frank was inside when the bomb went off..I believe he sacrificed himself since he gave his share of the money to his buddy.

Reading all the other replies/ideas about the movies Lem gave Tagomi. Made me wish I never started another thread about the same question.
Firstly, I believe what we were seeing as "alternate reality", was part of the "movie within the movie" ; The Grasshopper lies Heavy..just as in the PKD novel, TGLH was the novel within the novel.
But why only Tagomi and Juliana were seen in both, I haven't figured out yet..My best guess is, it has something to do with Tagomi reading I Ching and that gold necklace which symbolizes the talisman..It possessed WU. It was originally Juliana's, a present from Frank. It was full Of love and sorrow..
Secondly, I believe those movies Lem gave to Tagomi were the same ones Lem stashed in the pick-up as he was picking up the man in the high castle after he set fire to the warehouse. They were home movies of Juliana, Tagomi's son and grandchild..

I think so, too.

They were home movies of Juliana, Tagomi's son and grandchild..

Were they? Tagomi already knows about that reality, so would it help anything to show him more of it via films? I guess maybe if the films show something bad in his grandchild's future that he could help prevent. I assumed they were from alternate realities that he hadn't seen yet.
