The show's meh, underlying message is better

This show is pretty meh for me and I totally feel a lot of the criticism from people saying that the writers and producers are humanizing the absolutely terrifying and horrifying system of nazism. However, the one thing that I actually enjoyed watching was what happens when nazis have done all they can to destroy what they believe are the external reasons for their "problems" and now turn inwardly to eradicate any imperfection. This is schadenfreude at it's best. In the end, humanity is its differences and imperfections and that's beautiful. That makes critical thinkers and art and music.

How in any way is the "system of nazism" being humanized in this show? Even Hitler himself is portrayed as basically a paranoid recluse, as it's clear that many in the party will stop at nothing to get what they want.

Perhaps I should've said nazis themselves. Peace be with you.

I personally think the show is more realistic. Convenient for people to just dehumanize the Nazis and want them to be some sort of bad guy, monsters in the flesh.

The reality is they're humans, humans who also worry about their own kids, and humans can be brainwashed to do terrible things. That's far more realistic.
