I have a difficult time deciding whether I prefer Joe or Frank.

Maybe there is no need to, just enjoy all the goodness.

The show's male characters were not cast for their "beefcake" qualities! So if you want beefcake, go look somewhere else. MITHC is too cerebral for beefcake or cheesecake actors. I think the actors were cast for their ordinary. guy you'd see stocking shelves at Home Depot kind of looks. None of the actors, male or female seem to have been cast for their looks.

Perhaps with different hair, make-up and lighting the male leads could be deemed "beefcake", but in this show NONE of them come close to it.
