So that bus that Ed and Childan are on to NYC...

Spoiler.....

...I'm guessing it's the same bus transporting the Jap bomb to New York.

Right? I can't be the only person thinking this...

never thought about that. I thought the bus only carried the plutonium. And I dont the bomb was ready yet to be used. They were still making it at the port.

reply

I thought they were gong to Neutral Zone.

If this is Locke, then who's in there?

I'm sure that's what I heard them say, too.

Yes, they'll get off the bus when it stops at the Neutral Zone--- but the bus's route might take it further east after that stop.

Sometimes fires don't go out when you're done playin' with them.

Although I not sure why the Japanese would want to carry their plutonium further east into the Reich... maybe more like the plutonium would leave the bus before it got to the neutral zone.

But yes, they were enriching it at the port, and they were loading it onto a bus, I just can't remember if they mentioned a destination for the bus carrying it. We just don't know if the plutonium bus and the neutral-zone-bound bus were one and the same.

Also note that they brought the material to be enriched FROM the neutral zone in the first place. It makes little sense to bring it to the coast, enrich it, then ship it back. But then, it also kind of makes little sense to do the actual enrichment in a dock in a crowded city port; maybe it was for large amount of power required (as Frank noted was serving the port warehouse).

TUNE IN NEXT SEASON!

(Uranium, plutonium ... uranium enriched into plutonium? Maybe an actual scientist could clear this up for us.)

Brevity is the soul of wit.
