Younger Actors are the Weak Link

The actor playing Joe is, by far, the weakest link in the whole show. Very bland, dull actor.

The actress playing Julianna was much better this season. I actually cared about her and found her believable.

Helen is amazing. Great actress and character.

I got the impression that Frank's friend is in love with him. The "some privacy please" comment when Frank is about to shower make me think he thinks so, too.

I liked Season Two better than Season One. It seemed to hold together better. But, once again, the older characters are the ones who make the show. The younger actors seem like community theater in comparison.

They made Joe useless pretty much in Season 2. I thought Juliana was somewhat misused as well. Both those characters it felt like they gave up on.

I agree. Joe probably is the worst actor next to the Smith daughters! Everyone else are fine. The episode about acid was just plain weird and awful. My least favorite scenes were the Joe scenes in season 2. Seemed like they made stuff up to keep him in the series. I believe he died early in the book.

Yes, I forgot about the Smith daughters. I was cringing when they were taunting their older brother about having a crush. It was so community theater.
