They had Hellmann's mayonnaise in the refrigerator in San Francisco. Hellmann's is known as Best Foods Mayonnaise west of the Rockies.

Answers to all questions:

This is an alternate reality. What happened historically did not happen here except to the extent the author wanted it to.

But while we are at it, I don't think the children of high-ranking Nazi officers were ever targeted for extermination due to "defects.' They would have been exempt, if not de jure, then de facto.

The Nazis even had to moderate their eugenics policies when applied to the sick relatives of loyal citizens who were valued by their families due to public outrage.

But the show is speculating about how they would have behaved after nearly 20 years of victory. It's possible that the eugenics program would have become more extreme.

One thing I find kind of inauthentic even considering the victory scenario is the total ban on Christianity. Different Nazis had different views on religion (including pro-Nazi interpretations of Christianity), and I doubt a ban would be worth the effort since to stay legal, any religious group would have to support the state and be constantly monitored for deviation.

I noticed in season 1 that they used a Seattle landmark named The Smith Tower to be a building in San Francisco with the Japanese flag down the side of it.

I was just about to write an angry letter to Amazon about it when suddenly it struck me -- this is a science fiction show!

Not only that, I also realized but the town of Canon City in the Neutral Zone was actually filmed in the same Washington State town named Roslyn where the 90s show 'Northern Exposure' was filmed and I thought to myself "what did that show have to do with Nazis?".

I was all confused, until I once again realized that thing about production values, location costs, and green-screen photography, etc. etc.

Let's not even wonder how they got the Seattle World's Fair monorail to appear in Berlin!

Well, I didn't study the maps that hard. Was Arizona in the Pacific States?

Also, just a thought, but since the Nazi's nuked Washington DC, don't you think they would have gained control of Los Alamos, either way?

Taco trucks and bibles.

Brevity is the soul of wit.
