Juliana's aikido skills. Where did they go?

In the first episode of this show she was tossing experienced Japanese aikido practitioners around like confetti. She never ever seemed to have any sort of physical prowess after that. Ummm...wat? Granted, I've only watched through season 2, ep 5 but she is just a regular chick (easily intimidated, victimized, in distress, etc). Dang, I was hoping that her martial arts skill would be a factor at some point. And yes, I knew that that one dude went over the dam but he was kicking her ass up to that point and it seemed almost like an accident when he fell.

That's the same with any martial art. Against people using the same rules as you, maybe you're very skilled, but up against an aggressive and brutal person, the rules no longer apply. Aikido isn't some kind of ass-kicking martial art, it's just redirection of your opponent's momentum. That ain't gonna do crap against someone trying to pummel you with their fists, especially when you are in fight or flight mode and are a woman. You seriously think because a woman takes Aikido she's as strong as a man?? Think again. Women can't "do anything a man can do", that's a feminist lie. Are you raised by a single mommy?

Aikdio is a martial art structured around using an attacker's own momentum against him. That's kinda hard to do, when your "attacker" is the lid of a trunk that isn't trying to punch you.

Sometimes fires don't go out when you're done playin' with them.

In season 2, when she is in the Reich, she was creating a character, a woman who would fit in among the Nazis. In this part, the women are not supposed to know any martial arts, and are just there for their family, husband. She knew how to make other people think that she was not a threat, a regular refugee trying to fit in.
Did you miss her aikido skills during the final episode ?
