Eff this (Spoilers)

So, the whole season, Juliana and Joe don't come together ONCE??? That is so rude and cruel to build that romance so much in season one, then just nothing in season two. Look, I'm not saying the show isn't worthwhile, and the other aspects of the show this season were good to watch, but, come on - NOTHING?? Uggh - and seeing the end, is there even meant to be a season 3? Or was this it?

So you wanted more romance and screen time for the least accomplished actors on this?

reply

I even like the actors and characters more than you seem to but still think it would have been a waste of time. Season 2 had plenty of interesting people and events.

reply

That was the least of this season's problems.

You obviously think all shows that have two people of the opposite sex in them must include romance. There was no build up of any romance between Joe and Juliana. He is attracted to her somewhat and has feelings of guilt about deceiving her but she is in love with Frank -- who was tortured and lost his sister and her kids for her so no way is she going to get involved with Joe. What you saw was not a build up, just your own imaginings.

They have already set up the problem for S3.

Joe (come on, we all know Smith will get him out of treason charges) was celebrated as a perfect Aryan. Juliana, at the same time, was looked down upon for having an olive complexion along with a cracked pelvis from her "accident".

I can't see them sending Julianna away from NY. She was a much needed outside and explanatory view on Nazi America. I think she will become head of the resistance there. How they will clean up the TV producer and his wife mess, I don't know.

Isn't he dead? Pretty sure a German soldier rushed up and blew his head off to shut him up during his impromptu broadcast. He won't be spilling the beans about Juliana to anyone now, unless they make it a plot point that he left a message or told his wife about it, in which case... Joe or Smith will probably pressure her to be silent or, in Smith's case, observe her befalling a "tragic accident."

I'm guessing that you don't/won't like Game of Thrones.

Fanfiction and youtube videos exist to scratch that itch and there are already fanfictions shipping Joe and Juliana.
