history is written by the victor

You know, except for Japan being involved and the exaggerated cruelty, this alternate reality
looks pretty sweet.

I doubt the world in our present times could be any worse than what it
has become and will become in the near future.

I agree.... They had a very good ideology

Most of the people posting from their parent's basements about how wonderful Nazi rule would be would be held in contempt n a Nazi-run world and lucky not to be rounded up for "resettlement" for being racially inferior.

Nazi rule would not be especially good to those not of Northern European decent, not able bodied, suffering from mental illness, who had a sense of humour, whose religious faith conflicted with Nazi ideology, who had a tendency to question authority, objected when those in authority were corrupt, or had a enemy who might accuse them of political dissent. Some fifteen to twenty million people were incarcerated in Nazi concentration camps in real life.

Note too that Nazi policy in real life was to systematically exploit the economies of occupied lands in order to maintain an artificially high German standard of living. Germany was virtually bankrupt in 1939 saved from economic collapse by the conquest and looting of the treasuries of the nations it conquered. It much more likely that a Nazi-German occupied United States would have a much reduced standard of living than in real life.

Given the Germans were fighting a war against an enemy with hundreds of millions of people, that really isn't a large percentage. Nazi Germany certainly had flaws, but most of the "negatives" are gross exaggerations or outright propaganda lies.

reply

yes ofcourse and there is no need to ask for further proofs -

it was all proofed by Hollywood and time witnesses,
who wrote and sold their 'stories'

They didn't have all those "hundreds of millions of people" under occupation. Twenty million prisoners represents about ten percent of the population under German control.Nor does this number include prisoners of war. As for the "gross exaggerations or outright propaganda lies", it rather seems they understated German atrocities as they realized that the truth was so horrible as to be unbelievable until the camps were liberated and the evidence could made public.

makes sense, have you considered writing a diary of it

The show doesn't depict the real horror and brutality of the Nazis. Seems a shame if viewers get the impression we'd all be happier if the Nazis were in charge. If that's what you get from the show, the producers failed - unless the producers want us to side with the Fuhrer.
