Calendar Girl

There is a goof for "The Tiger's Cave" which says the song "Calendar Girl" (playing when Juliana first meets Hawthorne Abendsen) would not have been written in the alternate reality because Neil Sedaka is Jewish and Howard Greenfield was gay. But I have another theory. If films of a different reality where the Axis powers lost the war are being found, I think other artefacts from that (i.e. our) reality are leaking through too such as records and books. Some of the banned books in the Japanese library are editions which in our reality were published around 1958-1960.

Agreed. As I mentioned in a reply buried in another thread, there's no reason why books and records couldn't be coming from alternate realities just as film reels are.

Brevity is the soul of wit.

While I agree that it's presumably possible for things besides film reels to be carried between timelines and thus the recording could have come from one, I'd also point out that it's not necessarily a "goof" because it's entirely possible that Sedaka and Greenfield could have escaped to the Neutral Zone or the Pacific States and thus avoided the genocide in the eastern US. We can't assume that any given historical figure is dead or live in TMitHC timeline until the show either actually tells they are or creates a fact pattern that strongly indicates that they are.
