What about the UK?

Did the UK become part of the Nazi Empire as well? How much of Europe is under their control? And what about Canada?

reply

I think it's safe to assume that it is part of the Reich

reply

Probably all of Europe except for a few neutral countries and ones occupied by Italy. I would think that Western European nations within the Reich would be by this point ruled directly by local Nazis loyal to Germany, while Eastern Europe, European Russia, Ukraine, etc., would be absorbed into a "Greater Germany".

Canada would be split between Germany and Japan. It would seem redundant to me not to include the eastern part of Canada in the North American Reich and the western part in the Pacific States.

Guys, you should really read the book. It's tells the story and is the basic foundation that the 'tv' show is now based on!

reply

All of Europe and Africa are part of the Reich.

It was shown on the world maps throughout season 2

Europe was annexed in its entirety. That is, all but Switzerland. Switzerland apparently remains n€utral even in alternate realities :p Besides, the reality of the show/novel was apparently the same as our own up until '44 or '45, and from then it diverged.

No, that's absolutely incorrect. In the novel the point of divergence was identified as the assassination of FDR in February 1933 (an assassination attempt that failed in our timeline). It can reasonably be presumed that the show's timeline diverged at the same point (Childan references FDR being assassinated, albeit without specifying when), but under no circumstances can the point of divergence be later than June 4, 1942 since that was when Reinhard Heydrich died in real life.

I know they'll never do it, but it would be great if they sold a poster version of that map.

There's another show starting soon that depicts the UK under Nazi Rule called SS-GB.

It's based on a Len Deighton novel.

That is not the question. The question is why does God need a Time Machine?

It's gloved up in a corner, loudly complaining to the ref about low blows but with a mysterious ability to dodge the worst of them....
