Please Help Me With Plot Outline

O.K., at the get-go (as we say in the States) I need to tell you that I am a complete odd-ball when it comes to tension in murder films. To illustrate my wussiness I will tell you that I was so freaked at the end of Witness (yes, Witness! God forbid anything happen to Harrison Ford!!)that I left my seat to seek out the theater manager and ask how the film ended. He told me, so then, i calmly returned to my seat and watched the rest of the film.

SO, that's what I'm asking you. I really like Kim Bodnia's work and would like to see him in this, but the film needs to be de-stressed before I can watch it. Would you plse tell me a brief plot outline for this film; WHO ends up being the psycho murderer and what happens to him/her at the end of the series, and what happens to the 2 investigators?
