Where can I watch s3 NOW? Desperate

This is one of my favourite shows ever. I miss it so badly, I can't wait for BBC4 in the UK. Where can I find it? Even a torrent would do.

reply

You can watch it on DR's website for free but there are no subtitles (only Danish and Swedish) so that's probably not a big help.

reply

Thanks, but what is DR? Last night I suddenly realised I could use my VPN and therefore access the show via the Swedish TV website. But as you said, no subtitles. That didn't stop me from watching, tho! Haha. Will also watch episode 2 tonight. I don't actually have a clue what is going on, but can't help myself!

reply

DR is the (Danish) channel which co-produces the show ;)

Here's a direct link: https://www.dr.dk/tv/se/broen-iii/broen-iii-1-10

How long does it usually take before they show it in the UK? I feel sorry for you that you have to wait. Will post here if I find a place with English subtitles.

reply

Thanks. I think it will not be shown until January in the UK. Maybe I'm wrong and it will be November. Hope so. Do you speak Danish? Tell me basically what's going on if you do, ha.

reply

Oh man, I hope you don't have to wait until January!

Well, I guess this scene is a good place to start, I found it giffed with subtitles:

http://myordinarystuff.tumblr.com/post/130495023677/martin-has-been-in-prison-for-six-months-he-has

Saga clearly still thinks about Martin a lot - He was mentioned several times both during the first and second episode. When I wasn't crying about that, I managed to catch a few other highlights in the plot:

The killer apparently has a political motive and is inspired by an online blogger. He murders people who support "new ways of living" like gender neutral kindergardens and same-sex marriages.

And Saga's new partner is a sex/drug addict who only wanted the case with Saga because he wants some personal favor from her but we don't know what it is yet. Not sure how I feel about the guy but he's intriguing enough.

Finally, Saga is being stalked by her mother (!!) who she hasn't seen in 20 years because Saga blames her for the suicide of her younger sister….So yea.

(and yes I am Danish btw)

reply

Sagas new partner is single so he can have as much sex he wants.

And I assume that you figured out that the woman he is talking to when he is at home is dead.

reply

I actually DID NOT figure that out until just now. And now I feel really absent-minded because when looking back all the signs are right there.

We've never once seen the woman interact with his kids. And when Saga asked him he said he was single. We also never saw them kiss but I thought it was maybe a family member like his sister and they were just close enough to live together.

reply

Oh no, do we have to wait until January in UK??!

reply

Apparantly it airs on BBC 4 at the end of november.

reply

Spoiler for episode 2: The plot thickens... hehe

It's available with english subs. Not sure if torrents links are allowed, so just google Broen.S03E02.DANISH.720p50.HDTV-Z97

reply

Unsure how legit this is but guess admins can remove if it breaks rules. I watched one with multiple subs, possibly Swedish, with English on slight delay. Better than not knowing what's going on though a bit annoying. Hoping someone posts the second episode (from last Sunday) soon.

Thanks everyone! It is amazing to come across an IMDB site where everyone is so pleasant and helpful. The spoilers make me want to see it even more, ha.

if you can bear a 2-3 day wait to get english subtitles I've been checking this site since watching the 1st episode http://projectfreetv.qc.to/broen-season-3/

Season 3, episode 4 (no subs): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Z71Zkq_P9A.

For those interested, the third series will premiere on BBC Four on Saturday, November 21st. As always it will air as double episodes, meaning it will finish on December 19th around three weeks after it ends on SVT and DR.

At which time I will enjoy watching it again, lol.

Anyone know where I can find episode 4 with the subs hard coded (I think that is the term) into the video? I don't know how to add the subtitles which I saw on a torrent site.

reply

Most players have the default setting of Subtitles: Off. So you just go to the menu and click Subtitles: On ;-)

If you go to the website TORRENTZ, you will find all the season's episodes there with hardcoded English subtitles.
All you have to do is download them and play on VLC. Subtitles will automatically appear.

The only problem with Torrentz is the long delay between the airing of the episodes and
their appearance with English subs on the site. For example, S03E06 was still not up on
November 7. However, for those who don't mind waiting, this is a convenient way to
see the episodes right now, and not have to wait for them to be shown on the BBC.
OTOH, for those who don't mind doing a little digging, the Danish TV episodes are always
available for downloading on Sunday evenings (Hell, they are even viewable on Youtube),
and the English subs can almost always be found somewhere on the web the next day. Finding,
downloading, and viewing the subs does take a little bit of work, but if someone has to see
the most recent episode as soon as possible, it is the only way to go.

reply

Yes, I agree with you re the delay on Torrentz.
However given the multiple stories and the convoluted plots in season 3, I personally have stopped watching it episode by episode and will collect them when season ends and then bingewatch it.
Fascinating as the season is there is just toooooooooooooooooooo much going on to keep track of on a weekly basis

Thanks for the tip. Up to now I have been watching the Swedish version on a Sunday night and the subtitled version downloaded from Kickass Torrents which turn up about Thursday.

Today is Monday, so I will head to You Tube to find the Danish English language version.

If anyone sees it on You Tube, please give the link below. Cheers.
