The male detective who was assigned to partner up with Saga...

Might be a spoiler... My guess is the woman he's talking to is all in his head..Maybe his dead ex wife? But definitely not someone physical. Same with the kids in the living room watching the television! What do you think?

Indeed, all his scenes at home are quite eerie and he mostly talks about his medication ;-)

Athhajar ma yeroon.

Yes, this has already been suggested on the board before ;) I'm almost sure you're right!

Nothing about the way Henrik interacts with people - or talks about himself - suggests that he is married or has children. He told Saga about the woman he had a one-night stand with and in the last episode he was asked if he was married and he said no. He NEVER talks about his children either and we never see him interact with them. It's probably because they are all in his head - An illusion and maybe a memory.

When Henrik suggested to Lillian that he takes the case with Saga Lillian hestistated. Maybe she knows Henrik has experienced something serious in his past?

Either way, I'm extremely interested to find out moreā€¦

If you haven't seen the previous 3-4 episodes of season 3 don't read.

The file he gave Saga must be his missing family, wright?

I think he's a good replacement for Martin.

reply

Oooooh I love that idea!

I'd started thinking he must be keeping her under his protection for some reason (ala Broadchurch), but then why would they share a bed.

Only thing is with Saga looking into it it's going to be pretty obvious that the cold case is his wife and kids surely?

I don't think he would get into bed with his sister! No, I think she has to be his ex-partner...

(spoiler ep.5)

when i watched the episode where he gave Saga the files the pieces suddenly fit . The pictures are of his wife and kids and explains why he is on drugs, why he leaves at night with his family present just to find it empty when he comes home in the morning (episode5)

I think as it is now this is perhaps the best season yet. With the ebbs and flows and intertwining of different cases and people. I thought i would miss Bodnia but i dont. But i'd love to see him back at some point if they decide to do more series ... or pick it up in 10 years when he is out of prison ;)

I agree. There are so many different plot lines that it is hard to imagine how the writer will tie everything
together in the five episodes that are remaining.
I never really had a problem with the character of Martin not being written into this season. I considered his
story to be wrapped up at the end of S02, and any attempt by the writer to follow Martin in prison would
have been awkward IMO. Saga has always been the most interesting character in this series, and it was
important that the S03 focus be on her story.

You where right.
And I did not see it coming!
