Amazing but sad scenes (SPOILERS)

Wow, these were some wonderful scenes from an artistic stand point, but so very hard to watch. These scenes really tugg at my heart strings:

When she goes to say goodbye to Hans, but can't handle the situation and all grief and frustration boils over and makes her hit him in the face. Very powerful. Equally emotional, but in quite and understated sort of way, is the scene where she is lying on the hospital bed, looking so drained, and Henrik enters the room.

The emotional part of me wants to tell the writers to stop hurting Saga already. But you cannot deny these are really good scenes.

I think the scene earlier in the series, where she says she dont want to visit Marin, but you can clearly see how much she misses him, is also very good. She say one thing but you can clearly see tha she feels something else.

reply

Good point. And he saw through her too, when he said "but you're obviously thinking about him".

That scene killed me! This whole season has been really difficult to watch because it's just Saga going through one painful thing after the other. The previous seasons were also - maybe even more so - about Martin's struggles but this time it's Saga's turn and they're not giving her a break.

I kept thinking - right until the very last second - that Hans would wake up. I was like: After everything they can't do that do her… But they did. So heartbreaking.

Because of her charisma all eyes are on Saga but there are other outstanding performances and great scenes on show here.
Cop John's reaction to realising that he was being used by the pretty blond photographer and her dismay when he dumped her were very believable and Lillian, finally breaking down in the hospital corridor even got me swallowing rapidly. Henrik is being great with her without getting into her space and is proving to be fiercely protective vis-a-vis his digs at the Internal Affairs guy and the boss who sent her away (name ?) Also the latest suspect is a piece of work and Claes is a slimy git.
My personal favourite is Freddie because I am a big fan of Nicolas Bro, who always seems on the verge of being the bull in the china shop, but never is.

That's true, there has been many other good scenes. I too felt very bad for Lillian. But the photographer, she redeemed herself in the last episode didn't she?

As for Claes, I didn't know he had that in him. Talk about slimy backstabber.

Well, we did witness him killing his father, and God knows what he had been doing with that
shovel in E07. So, the way I see it, his treatment of Asa was one of his least heinous acts.
