The code..

...which was found on Morten's fridge door, leads to Claes. It was identical to the EMail address he sent to the photographer when he commissioned her to take pics of Freddie's wife.
If so, then that would identify him as Morten's "brother" and his killer. Perhaps they were in the military together, but I can't make a connection to the foster homes.
We do know that he "killed" his father.

Except he didn't commission those pics, or at least there's no indication of that. He told the press that Freddie's wife wasn't really pregnant simply because she told him herself; there were no photos involved.

In episode 8 Freddie's wife confronted him about the pictures and he admitted to it, or ay least that is how I interpreted the scene when he appeared with a shovel

The media ran the story but did not have any pictures because Jon's ex-girlfriend did the right thing and chose not to sell them to the media! So the media reports that Freddie's wife became aware of would have just been gossip columns based on the tip-off from Klaus. So I don't think there is any indication that he commissioned the photos.

The pictures have so far not been published anywhere. It was only *after* the media found out via Claes that Asa is faking the pregnancy that Tina began to consider selling the photos to her boss to be published. She has not sold them because the last time she did that ended with a suicide, and also because John broke up with her for that reason.

I'm aware that they haven't, as yet, reached the press but she did send copies to the coded E-Mail address asking if they were worth more money, so they were known to someone other than Tina (and later Jon). My guess is Claes, although his motives for the killings are beyond me, apart from Annika.

One other thing that puzzles me is at the end of the last episode we saw that Marc had been killed and Jeanette abducted but who else knew they were at the house or even knew about the house's existence apart from Freddie and Marc's fellow poker players ?

reply

They were probably followed when they left Freddie's house.
