Jens didn't have to be that much of a supercop to be better than Martin who was horrible at the job.

First of all, I find it a little hard to swallow that they store potent poison like that in a regular evidence room.

Either way, what put the nail in the coffin is him bringing the cups all the way to the bin outside the meeting for Saga to see him discard them, why would anyone do that unless they wanted to get caught?

Isn't it common knowledge for anyone having been near criminal elements for any period of time that you discard of items used in a crime at times and in places which makes it impossible to be traced back to you.

You don't throw the tainted cups away right in front of the only idiot savant cop you know.
