Last ep of season 3 (spoilers)
Wow, that was depressing.
shareReally? It was the first time the series didn't end on a sour note.
shareDisappointing closing episode. :( Didn't have the same "punch" as with previous season enders.
shareI liked the end. There is enormous amount of hope for both of them. They are going to help each other, Saga is helping Henrik to find out what happened to his family and help him overcome his addiction and Henrik is helping Saga by being her friend and by giving her a reason to live. The way they look at each other in the car in that last scene shows they are at peace with each other and ready to go forward.
The scene with both of them at the railway station was sensational! Great acting altogether!
This ending is very clever. There is hope for a season 4 but it's still a good ending if they decided to stop here.
I understand what you mean, but there is still the small matter of Saga being
charged with her mother's murder, possibly being convicted, and ending up in
prison. I would have hoped that, if the writer(s) and cast consider this series to
be done, they would have brought some sort of closure to that massive cliffhanger.
That look in the car said it all
I can't be bothered to have a sig any-more.
I really like the ending too, as far as Saga and Henrik are concerned at least.
Above all, when he kept her from killing herself he proved that he understands her. He could have professed his feelings for her, but instead he gave her a purpose, told her that he needed her. Just like he showed at the end of episode 8, he understands that Saga needs to be able to work.
Why?

All the suicide things, Hans' funeral, the unfair course of justice ... The actual murder case was the least negative of all!.
shareI think S01 and S02 ended a lot worse! I was convinced they would kill of Saga or Henrik so to me this was almost to happy!

I already knew nothing terrible would happen to Saga because of what she said in her interviews on Swedish programs or on all the Youtube videos. She has no idea if there will be a series 4 at this stage. And she hints that it's possible. So I knew that she wasn't going to die under a train. There is a strong possibility that they make season 4. I'm looking forward to it. There is plenty left in Saga unlike Sofia says.
shareThe decision on a fourth season will be made by Hans Rosenfeldt, and we probably won't hear
anything for quite a while.
I'm quite surprised that some posters were seriously considering the possibility that Saga might
be killed off, thus ending the series. If S03 ends up being a wrap for Bron, it is very important
that the viewers have reason to imagine a positive future for her. Killing her off would be unthinkable IMO.
Well, after they killed Martins son nothing was unthinkable to me. I think it would have been realistic if she killed herself after everything. Henrik saving her was a bit like a knight in a shining armor...
I can't be bothered to have a sig any-more.
True. But what I like is that she also saved him.
shareBut it would have been a realistic ending if she had killed herself. They finally broke her down.

>>They finally broke her down.
I wish the writers would stop doing that and let Saga be Saga.
Do you honestly believe she would survive in the real world?
I can't be bothered to have a sig any-more.
This is not the real world. It is a universe where elaborate serial killers lurk around every corner (well, almost).
But I think it's pretty clear that she would have killed herself if Henrik had not happened to come into her life at this particular dark time.
Yes, I know that.
I just think it would have be kind of cool if they had killed her of.
People would have gone berserk in here!

Totally agree with you. I'm so happy for this season 3 ending, there is so much hope for Saga and for Henrik. There is a lot of stuff they can work with on a season 4. And I want one!
