If I remember correctly, Rasmus and Emil have the same surname (nice one!), so one of them is probably the killer. I think Rasmus is the 6th child from the basement room and the killer. He kidnapped Emil, who appeared at the end of the episode holding the gun to the baby's head.
I'm almost certain, yes. They were never suspect to me because they both seemed insane from the very moment they appeared in the series (if you remember season 2, Oliver was also like this). It's always the ordinary, plain character who is revealed as the killer, not the ones who seemed fishy all the time.
I just can't see everything being wrapped up neatly in one more episode!
There is no possible way, IMO, to wrap up all of the loose ends in the final episode. I started to feel, at the mid-season mark, that the writer(s) had made a mistake by including so many characters and subplots. For example, what was the point of the affair between Anna and Benjamin? Or of John's photographer girlfriend? The most interesting plots of the season, IMO, were the hunt for the killer, the developing relationship between Saga and Henrik, and the investigation of Saga's mother's murder, and the attempt to link Saga to the crime. IMO, the writer(s) should have focused on these three plots alone, and left some of the other stories (that ended up going nowhere anyways) out. I wouldn't be surprised to see at least one cliff hanger left at the end of E10 to supposedly be resolved in a potential S04. However, the writer(s) of this series do not (at least so far) have a great record when it comes to resolving cliff hangers in subsequent seasons.

Maybe Freddie had a similar affair with Helle? And the photographer told the killer that Freddies wife wasn't pregnant, that's why he/she didn't kidnap her. But I agree that will be hard to wrap it up! I don't think we will find out what happened to Henriks family and Saga might end up i jail for something she didn't do. I believe her mother killed herself as a revenge for what Saga had done to her.
Don't forget about drug thing with one of the Killbrothers and old armored car robbery and missing money plotline at the start. There were too many (too weird) subplots.
It is almost certain Emil is the killer of all murders, apart from the copy-cat one by Rikard, the cleaner who was desperate for Lise's recognition. I can't see Rasmus being involved and as someone mentioned it is a very common name.
I'm left with lots of questions though and I wonder if they can wrap it all up in one final episode.
The motivation of Emil is clear: revenge against his biological father who did not claim him so he had a hell of an upbringing in the foster home, probably abused by Filip Johansson, foster father and locked up in the cellar room with the obvious complicity of the foster mother.
So some murders I can see the motive but others not really. I can't see that the anger of Emil is so strong that he has to kill Helle Anker who set up the fertility clinic (but… this was the beginning to it all, so maybe the pain was so intense, he started where it all began as the song reminds us… and so she had to die first).
Why did the son, Morten have to die? Is he also the product of Freddie's sperm donation to the clinic? Everything suggests. We know he is convinced his father is Freddie. Is there a story behind the rape in Afghanistan yet to be explained? Would Lukas death be connected to this or just a drug turf thing? It is probable "the brother" Morten mentions, is in fact Emil. But why kill him? Did Morten know for sure it was Emil the killer so he had to be silenced?
Why did Emil then kill the gym teacher? It was mentioned Lars Ove Abrahamsson liked girls (?) Was Emil ever abused by him as well as a kid/teenager at school? His killing stage was clearly of a sexual nature since genitals were removed.
Most of all questions, why did he try (and managed in the end) to kill Hans? What's the connection there? Is it only because he was the officer who located him after he ran away from the foster home and brought him back? If that's the case, Emil really suffered a hell we can't imagine in that home!
What's the situation with this guy who was first on the murder scene at the transport company, Kjell Söder? He vanished suddenly after resigning. That was highly suspicious but we never heard from him again.
Then there is the story with Anna having an affair with young Benjamin who ends up committing suicide being heartbroken. Why then was her husband Hakan killed and in this bizarre way as well? What's the connection here with Emil? We hardly see anything about this line of investigation, why?
What was Annika's role in all of this? Maybe it is a side story where Claes wanted to get rid of her blackmailing him for the death of his father (the murder of his father should I say out of compassion). And it has nothing to do with the Joker Killer. The fact that she was fostered in this family still is a strong connection to Emil though.
It is no coincidence that Emil is the Art Museum guide. He knows everything about the artwork from Freddie, but why did he inform the police? To remove himself as a suspect? We certainly believed in it for a while. Plus did he stage his attack to completely remove any suspicion against him? He's really clever and determined, that boy.
So, to wrap it up and I'm sure I left some stuff behind, I don't know how to explain everything at this stage and I certainly wish to have some of it explained in the final episode but I'm also very interested in Saga's personal story and her danish partner's personal story. Will we know in just one final episode the answers to all these questions? If they can pull it up, I take my hat off. Love the show. It's a masterpiece. I'm so much of a fan to this series. Thanks Sofia Helin and all the others for giving us so much joy watching an otherwise quite dark story. I'm loving it and looking forward to the finale. Tak smukke!
Morten was only shot, he didn't have any body parts removed. This suggests that killing him was not part of the revenge plot. The killer probably decided that having the mentally deranged Morten running around was too risky, and decided to silence him. Morten seems to have known about Holst being his biological father, and Emil then being his half-brother. He knew too much and had too go.
Anna's husband was the social worker assigned to Annika and Emil. I guess he was punished for not saving them from the foster home.
I personally believe Emil must have had help. He is rather frail and would find it difficult to move around heavy bodies alone. And surely he couldn't have burned a symbol inside his own mouth? I lean towards Annika or someone else helping him.
As I mentioned elsewhere, I think Rasmus is related to Linn ("you're someone I can trust") and I think he murdered Saga's mother and conspired with Linn for Saga to take the blame.
I'm not sure Linn is involved, but I actually don't think it's impossible that Rasmus might have done something fishy.
Someone broke into Saga's appartment, went through her garbabe bin to find the nail and programmed her computer to send a message at a specific time. This does not sound like something an older lady like Saga's mother would find easy to do.
We saw that Saga's mom spoke to Rasmus. Is it possible that she got him to help her frame Saga? She may not have told him everything, but now he finds it best to keep quite?
